QR Codes in the Classroom

There are so many ways that QR Codes can be used in the classroom.  Here are a few of the more interesting ideas I have come across.  (Click on the links to open the websites)

QR CODE TREASURE HUNT
An innovative way to create a treasure hunt - Input a series of questions and answers, print the QR Codes the website generates from this information and display them around the classroom.  The students find the codes, scan and find the answer to the question.

QR VOICE
Type in what you want to say and click on the blue generate QR code button and hey presto! When the student scans the QR Code, the text is magically turned into speech.

PHOTO BUCKET -  MAKE A QR CODE FROM ONE OF YOUR OWN IMAGES
You can create a QR Code with one of your own images.  Find the image you want (or if it's a document, save it as a Jpeg file - click here to see a video tutorial explaining this).  Next you will need to make a URL for the image - this is where Photobucket comes in.  If it's your first time you will need to register with an email address.  Then simply click Upload.  Find your image and upload it to your bucket.  You will be prompted to go to Your Bucket where you can find all of your images.  Once there, click on the settings icon in the corner of the image and select Get Links, then click Direct.  The URL will automatically be copied. Finally, open a QR Generator like QR Stuff and paste the URL into the Website URL tab.  Select download the code and the QR Code will appear.  This can be copied and pasted or saved wherever you'd like.
Here's one I made:
