National Simultaneous Storytime - Too Many Elephants in This House

This week, students in schools across Australia are reading the book "Too Many Elephants in This House" by Ursula Dubosarsky and illustrated by Andrew Joyner.
At St. John's Silkwood and St. Rita's Babinda, students listened to the story during their library lesson and then completed a range of activities to celebrate, including making masks, making paper elephants, watching book trailers and playing a Kahoot quiz.

To finish, students entered a competition to discover "How Many Elephants are in this Library?" by counting elephants on a large poster. Winners selected prizes from the library prize box.
